Rich fall color in this watercolor landscape painting called Polliwog Clearing is one of many fall landscape paintings by Hanne Lore Koehler featuring a forest creek in autumn. One of my many favorite subjects, this Algonquin landscape painting of a forest stream in Northern Ontario wilderness is representative of the woodland creeks and rivers that tumble over, through and around huge rocks and boulders among lush brightly colored deciduous trees in a typical autumn scene.
