Love the image, but not the fabric. Does not absorb moisture well.

Very nice little towel, fits perfectly in our Japanese theme bathroom.

Extremely poor quality, complete rip off as picture disappeared after the first wash. The wash was a cool programme for delicates and the towel was washed on its own. I won't ever order from them again

Artist's Description

Acrylic painting of poppy. Painted in 2008. Original sold. Wikipedia- Symbolism Poppies have long been used as a symbol of sleep, peace, and death: sleep because of the opium extracted from them, and death because of the common blood-red color of the red poppy in particular. This symbolism was evoked in the children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, in which a magical poppy field threatened to make the protagonists sleep forever. A second interpretation of poppies in Classical mythology is that the bright scarlet colour signifies a promise of resurrection after death. The poppy of wartime remembrance is Papaver rhoeas, the red-flowered corn poppy. This poppy is a common weed in Europe and is found in many locations; including Flanders, which is the setting of the famous poem "In Flanders Fields," by the Canadian surgeon and soldier John McCrae. About Kume Bryant

Kume Bryant

I am an abstract impressionistic painter working in acrylic on canvas. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my husband, son and two little black dogs (Aayla and Diesel). I work out of my home (Taken over the living room). Most of my days are gentle in a quiet neighborhood. I love walking into my studio early in the morning with a cup of coffee. The light through the windows is my inspiration and hope in-a-new-day. I paint in quietness- a peaceful time spent with God. Meditating on His worlds through music, or in quiet thought. I hope to convey emotional and spiritual stories on to the canvas. The emotions that I felt, my thoughts, my energy- I give myself in each painting. When one of this story continues on in someone's days... my heart is...
