Description
There is nothing better after dinner than a fine bottle of vintage port. Known as porto in Portuguese (as can be seen on this bottle), port was originally drunk by the English as a substitute for French wine. The best port comes from the Douro region of Portugal.
Port is actually made by stopping the wine fermentation with brandy while the wine is still sweet and fruity. Today, port is best enjoyed with dessert or as an after-dinner drink.
In this image, I have captured the port bottle, a port glass and a strainer for filtering very old port. I hope this image brings you many happy memories.
