Description

Once it was a sleepy Mediterranean fishing village, Portonfino is now a harbour with typical Italian architecture just south of Genoa, Italy.
A celebrity playground full of Yachts and homes of the rich and famous.
What attracted me to this place was not only the mediterranean sunshine but the brightly coloured buildings that line this harbour.
While having lunch at one of the outdoor cafes we learned that there is still a small fishing fleet that uses this place as a home base but judging by the million dollar apartments here, real estate is probably the most lucrative local business these days. The other is surely the many artists that have painted this beautiful spot for decades.
