When I recieved my email, it said the image size was 21.250” by 30”, but when it arrived, it was only 17.5” by 14”. I paid $60 for my print to be way too small, and didn’t fit in the frame that SHOULD have been perfect. I will never order anything from here again. (I love the poster, and Flatbush zombies).

I always loved this pattern and how it creates an even larger meta pattern that is mesmerizing to look at. You did an amazing job on line work and parallel spacing, and as a CZT, I wanted to feature this pattern on my wall to inspire students and give them confidence that they can also create something similar.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS in red, (expensive taste, huh!) is my son's favorite car. This was a gift for his tenth birthday. He placed it on his bookshelf next to his computer, where it can be seen from his bed and desk. Once received, I was somewhat skeptical of my chosen size. But, with a frame I painted red to match the car, it turned out great. The quality of the print is awesome! Thank you!

Artist's Description

My father made this engine when he was in his late teens/early twenties. In fact, he made two of this design. He took the motor to Pittsfield MA to GE and showed it to them and they hired him on the spot. He showed great potential. He only worked there a year and a half and then he got drafted to fight in WWII. When he came back his life had changed, he had changed. Today we call it PTSD. He was diagnosed as Manic Depressive. He made a pretty good life for himself and his family, despite that. Only, the thing he lacked was trust in other humans - love of other humans. He continued to purchase more machines and tools to help him make more machines and other tools. Some said he was a genius. In one of our arguments, I asked him, point blank, "Which do you love the most? Your family or your tools?" He couldn't or wouldn't answer me - I took that as his answer.

About Paul Chapman

I retired from teaching art for 35-1/2 years and realized that I could do anything I wanted for the rest of my life. I decided to paint. I also knew that I was not as good a painter as I was a teacher so I thought this might be a difficult task. I liked the idea of facing a challenge like that. The thing that pushed me harder, to create a larger body of work, was my cousin - Bill McCarthy - he was going to have a show in a store in a local city and he is a potter - he needed someone to show some two-dimensional works. He asked me and I was ready to go. I think I wound up having 50 or more pieces for that show and I have never looked back. I think that show was in 2003, it could have been a little earlier. I kept painting and my...
