Scroll down on right side to see a beautiful coffee cup of this art. Did you know this can be purchased as a shower curtain? or a bed cover? This is an historic view of professional baseball in Portsmouth Ohio in the year 1948. Portsmouth Athletics (class D farm team of the Philadelphia Athletics. I was a member of the YMCA Knothole Gang and got in home games free. Mostly we all sat together in the third base bleachers. The boys peering over the wall are not trying to see the game free so much as they are watching for possible home runs which they will retrieve and can either sell or get inside free. to see price of original or to buy prints co to http://frank-hunter.pixels.com/

That is what an illustration does. On these sites you will find my birthplace, my travels, my loves and my friends. After more than fifty years in the advertising art business (or commercial art, as it was once called), I retired in 2007 and commenced to assemble past works and illustrate my life. I am a native of Portsmouth Ohio, and one of my galleries on this site is devoted to that city. I can honestly say that in each of my works, "I was there". I received fine art training at Ohio State University and then went to work for a major advertising art...
