Very descriptive painting. The hot firey sky with the black, demolished manmade structures oil, towers and civilization creates sadness and thought. Voted.

Thank you everyone!

This is an interesting subject.

I'm great fan of silhouette art, and you used this style to depict a dramatic scale incident that is so capturing..Great job Jera! V)

Love the style and colors of this. Immediately I thought of Texas !

Jera The colors are perfect the red makes the whole painting and sceen intense. My mind sense fires burning and cooling off as the birds try and return home only to find all destroyed. Voted

Vibrant colors, great painting, I like how you have taken a subject that few like to discuss, paint it and a story develops. I am always in wonder with artist that a story tellers. voted, ,favorite, voted

An unusual, but thought provoking image! Voted

Jera, Great job at using different medias to create one fantastic piece of art, the colors are so vibrant and the subjects within the piece of art are in great detail and clarity. Love the whole piece of art. Great job. VOTED

Nice painting...v

If the birds are still alive, I have hope... =)

Jera - Very thought provoking image...I am thankful the birds appear to be doing OK though. Like how the black, inky darkness in the remnants of the landscape are simply portrayed and how the sky is reddened by catastrophe. Curious about the mission of the airplane. Well done.
