There is nothing like the contentment one feels after a great and filling meal, especially if you are the king of beasts and your ladies did all the preparation (as in bringing down a Cape Buffalo and then saving the best parts of the prey for you).
Any time a lion pride goes after a buffalo the risk to the lions and obviously to the buffalo, is extreme. This huge male lion just watched as the lionesses fought to subdue the buffalo. Ironically, a few minutes after I captured this image, two
