I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About J Anthony Shuff
Around my 7th or 8th birthday I remember receiving a paint-by-number oil painting kit. I took the lid off the small plastic container of paint eager to begin. Seeing so much paint left on the lid I picked up the first thing I saw to scrape it off. Instead of transferring the extra paint back into the little tub, I began to apply it to my canvas board with a "loaded toothpick". Needless to say, I was fascinated with the textural effect and proceeded to patiently paint the entire piece using...yep, toothpicks! Also, I grew up enjoying Walter Lance create images of "Woody Woodpecker" during those early animated TV programs. Years later, our high school began an art program as I entered my sophomore year.
