This was captured on one of those wondrous nights when the sky was clear, the moon was bright, and the northern lights seemed to be exploding from the sky in every direction. It was also one of those nights when two or three cameras would have been ideal, as it was difficult to decide which direction to point the ONE camera I was using. The aurora was all over the place! Regardless, I did end up with some of my favorite photos I've ever made, shot in one of my favorite places on the planet; Hatcher Pass, Alaska.
