Beautiful. Not happy with shiny look since it is hung over a real wood burning fireplace from 1906. It is facing East Lake Michigan - suggest going with a matte finish on this or face reflections.

This painting was inspired from a picture I took during a safari in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater, in Africa. It is a very large retired male African elephant.

Lucie Bilodeau was born in Montreal, Canada. After spending 28 years living in the United States, she moved back to Canada in 2020. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1993. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was seven years old. When she was 14 years old, she studied at Mission: Renaissance School in Montreal, Canada.
