Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Geoffroy Dextraze
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1972. Moved to Winnipeg in 1977, after my parents split up. I always was inspired by my mother's artistic expression, and wanted to dive into drawing, sculpting, ceramics, or anything she was into at the time. I have been inspired by the likes of Picasso, Escher, Doré, Dürer, and Dali, and of course my mother. I have taken a liking to pen and inks on paper. Thanks, i'm glad you like it! The moon you ask, well the cresent moon is an important icon for Islam, it represents the beginning of a new month. With the Islamic calendar, each month follows the course of the moon, so if you were to compare it to the Gregorian calendar year by year, it's off (in case you might have noticed Ramadan isn't at the same time of the Gregorian year) gef

Very cool. What's the significance of the moon in the right hand corner?
