Depicted is a technical drawing of a fishing tackle design patented by A. Wakeman on August 12, 1884, with the patent number 303,347. Detailed illustrations showcase the individual components and mechanisms of the fishing rod, including a side view of the reel (Fig. 2) and a sectional view detailing the inner workings of the reel mechanism (Fig. 3). The document bears a testimony of authenticity with signatures at the bottom and emphasizes the inventive step by naming the inventor along with the patent agent.
