What's at the end of the trail? That's what I wonder when I see tracks at the edge of a prairie horizon. It's fun to wonder, and fun to follow a path you've never taken.

I spotted this trail just south of the Burning Coal Vein one year. The conditions must have been just right for it to catch my eye, as I haven't really noticed it since. This 30 x 20" drawing was shown at the Rider Gallery and the J P Frameshop & Western Edge Gallery in Dickinson. It's now in a private collection in Bowman.
