Wow . Awesome painting . Please vote for my grandmother's elephant in the wildlife constest.

Awesome piece, Barbara.

What a sad story...I bet thier extinction was caused by man...:( I love your dedication to animals (me too!) and the way you depict them shows them in thier finest. Wonderful job! I hope everyone realizes that these creatures won't be around if we don't continue to help them. Thank you for highlighting these wonderful creatures!

Wonderful painting. I love the way you capture your subjects.

Absolutely beautiful!

June 18th, 2018

A beautiful photograph portraying a greek goddess indeed, if that, in some small way, is what Traven Milovich meant by his title "Artemisys". I am hardly a photographic artist in any way, shape or form. However, a beautifully photographed woman, both sensual and sensuous, as these two terms have two completely different meanings. Incredibly attractive. I haven't really used the cup itself, yet, so in the styrofoam packaging it stays for a while.Overall, beautiful work!! I will take a photograph of the cup for this review.

I truly had to laugh when first viewing this cup! The quote on the cup was hilarious, funny and made perfect sense to UFO buffs, fans. The painting/ art work itself of the alien was/ precious. I only hope that the artist can make enough money to further advance his/her art.

I love this Artist. Each of his works speak to me in a different way. Each morning, as I drink coffee from this cup, I am reminded of the beauty of some of the terrains I haven't met yet.

Artist's Description

The Black Rhinoceros, Diceros bicornis also colloquially Black Rhino is a mammal in the order Perissodactyla, native to the eastern and central areas of Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Although the Rhino is referred to as a "Black" creature, it is actually more of a grey-white color in appearance. The name of the species was chosen to distinguish it from the White Rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum). This is very misleading, as those two species are not really distinguishable by colour. The word "White" in name "White Rhinoceros" deriving from the Afrikaans word for "wide" rather than the color white. The World Conservation Union (IUCN) announced on 7 July 2006 that one of the four subspecies, the West African Black Rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis longipes), has been tentatively declared as extinct. In the private collection of M. Dulaney.

About Barbara Keith

Barbara Keith

05-19-17: Due to the injury of my index finger I can no longer work the hours I used to so I'm working on very short timelines. What that means is that it's going to take me a lot longer to get anything done. You never realize how important a thing like a finger is until you damage it!!! Bear with me, I will post anything new as I finish them. Also, I would like to let all the groups that I belong to know that I'm trying to catch up on everything - considering I lost about a year in total where I really couldn't do much. Sorry for the influx. 07-07-16: Will be absent again due to a torn tendon in my right hand (index finger). Will be gone for at least 8 weeks 04-09-16: I just want to let every one know that I will probably be absent...
