Beth, thanks for choosing Pretty Poor Substitute as a favorite in the Climate Change and the Environment group. It seems to me that polar bears look (and probably feel) totally out of place in carefully constructed zoo homes. Now that their natural Arctic environment is being diminished by global warming, I wonder... could there come a time when such a scene as this will no longer seem incongruent?
