The word carousel comes from the Italy and Spain.as early as the 12th century. Carousels then were created at Place du Carrousel in Paris using wooden horses for the children.
It is a fabulous thing to have artists replicating this art and to see the look of wonder in small children's eyes when they first see them is in itself awe inspiring.
