Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Fantastic work James... love the arrangement of the design and tones. very interesting to look at and great feel and mood. I liked reading the description as well... takes me back to the 1990s and early days of the Internet along with the later days of BBSes/modems. ;)) L/F!

I got the retro feel - this looks a bit like turntables where vinyls were spun and good ol' songs heard...V creative indeed! Great work, James! F/V
James Lanigan Thompson MFA replied:
Synthesised subconscious designs in manufacturing during the early digital age. Highlighting the awareness of archetypal forms mankind continues to use since the stone age. Colorations are reintroduced gilded age via modern plastic acrylics. The underlying theme is modern plastics are both destroying our environs and beautifying it. It only depends on how you view this new material.
Nancy Kane Chapman
The feeling is other worldly....the colors so beautiful we couldn't conceive that they are not just design but are parts which function. Very nice indeed! F/L++
James Lanigan Thompson MFA replied:
They did function once. Carefully designed to house intricate electronic parts that produced premium internet experiences. In effect they where the skins (masks) of the digital age. A series I started in 1980.
Donna Kennedy
