Description
In the foothills of Wyoming's Snowy Range, the artist enjoys vast wild lands inhabited by many unique forms of life. The pronghorn (called "antelope" but not really closely related to antelope) is the swiftest North American mammal, able to race the fleeting birds. But even the cheetah of the west needs a rest now and then. Amidst the harsh winter snows, this young buck seeks the sparse windbreak of a few gnarled sagebrush.
