My mother requested this print and sent me the link so I could buy it for her 86th birthday. She has fond memories of this work of art in her apartment in college and my parents have always been avid art collectors. This illustration is an attempt to show what a regular parent has to go through to keep their children innocence as protected as they can, especially at the early stage of kids' life. It is not easy to be a parent, and it is not easy to introduce all the wrong things in the world to our kids.. and so for a while, for a very short while, we become this titans who hold all the sorrows of the world on our shoulders so that those would not fall on the kids and smash them.
