This is a colorful interpretation of the typographical symbol known as an interrobang which is a non-standard punctuation mark which combines the exclamation mark with the question mark. No known font was used in the creation of this piece. It is a unique creation of the Artist and was digitally painted entirely using the Gnu Image Manipulation Program (GIMP).

ARTIST's STATEMENT: For most of my life I fought the calling to release my imagination and create. I no longer allow that fear to control any aspect of my life. We are all unique and have value. BACKGROUND: Vincent (i.e., Vin-¢) lives in the state of Florida in the United States of America and does not restrict himself to any medium as he believes a person's creativity reveals itself in every aspect of that person's life. Vincent is self-taught and looks for inspiration through introspection, intuition, imagination, and personal experiences. A former...

Thanks for entering this great interrobang design in the Interrobang contest. I think it would be a special addition to another group of mine, FONT ART. URL is on the contest home page. If you're interested in creating fonts and/or characters, it's the only font themed group that I've found. I hope to see you there. LF
Vincent Autenrieb replied:
Very inspiring comments Jim Williams. Thank you! This is my first stab at making font art and am finding it both challenging and rewarding. Thank you for introducing this to me via the interrobang contest in your group "WHAT Interrobang - 1 a day". I joined the FONT ART group as you suggested and have submitted 3 works for your consideration (all interrobangs but I think I am going to explore some other punctuations. Perhaps starting with the the Authority Point, Sarkmark, or Doubt Point. ...Perhaps emoticons will someday also be punctuations marks!?

Absolutely magnificent, Vincent! I hope there are more. Your punctuation is featured on WHAT Interrobang. LF
