Patricia ‘Patty’ Henderson is an accomplished Collage and Mixed Media Artist. Her creations come to life in her home studio located in Wallaceburg, Ontario. Born and raised there, she had a typical 60’s and 70’s childhood. She lived about a minute away from her public school, and in the summer she had a lot of free time to play, explore and imagine. She has cherished memories of time spent at her Aunt’s cottage in Rondeau Provincial Park on the shores of Lake Erie; swimming, playing in the sand, gathering beach glass, exploring the woods and catching frogs. The way you caught the back light in this is masterful. And your composition just sings. I personally like this one the best in the current contest. It has an inner glow that comes right up through the paper. If I had the money I would own the original.
