Push and Shove by the late Avonelle Kelsey is a signed, 24x18 pastel drawing by Avonelle Kelsey. While Avonelle would often conduct demos in her portrait classes with pastels, they were rarely saved and those that were often went unsigned/unframed.
This portrait is of Avonelle's long-time friend Brin Davis and her adorable pets, named Push (dog) and Shove (cat). In front of Brin is a book depicting the name of Brin's manuscript, Gulla Boys. The original artwork sold to a private collector in 2010.
