This vine, with pretty and dainty flowers, grows in hot climates in the Americas and is known by many different names depending on where the plant is found. The following is a list of some of the names this plant goes by: Pink coral vine, Tallahassee Vine, Honolulu Creeper, Christmas Island Crawler, Confederate Vine, Mexican Coral Vine, Mexican Creeper, Chinese Love Vine, Chain of Love, Queen's Jewels, Desert Bleeding Heart, Queen's Wreath and Rose of Montana. While considered invasive in Florida and Texas, it is a climbing beauty and can often be found in gardens, growing up trellises and fences. It is also an edible plant and has been used for medicinal purposes.
