Oh Dianna, how wonderful to hear from you. It has been forever! Thank you for your condolences. Much was worked out doing that painting. Your compliment means more than you know. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great summer.

Although your loss is not recent, please let me express my condolences Judith and thank you for a lasting memory of a wonderful tribute for a husband from his wife. And that aside, it is a wonderful piece.

Thank you Brenda. This was indeed an emotional time in our lives. Missing him dearly.

Barbara - I'm glad you caught it. The painting shows the way my husband set up the fire inside our lodge. (Tipi) And it really represents his quiet strength. After he passed away, I took the pencil drawing I did of him and super-impossed it into and behind the smoke/flames. Sort of a good-bye. Which was appropriate as the lodge was burned down, with the skull setup inside on the day of his funeral.

At first I thought you'd posted this piece twice and then I noticed the difference.. beautifully done.. very ethereal.. but EXCELLENT work..
