I am familiar with this talented artist, Lenore Senior, and appreciate her work. The towels were much better quality than I expected. So soft and such a beautiful replication of Lenore's artwork. They look great with the wall art I already have in place. I appreciate all the different product forms that FineArtAmerica offers. I have ordered Lenore's work on greeting cards, too, and they were beautiful and of a very good quality. Thank you!

Artist's Description

Spanning the Savannah River in Augusta, GA, a well-used railroad bridge connects two states. On the banks of the river, both near and far, stand trees and bushes native to the area. An overcast sky is reflected from the water's surface, forming an off-white background. Underneath, in the shade of the bridge, the water turns deep green. In the space between water and air, the trestle takes its course, in shades of brown. Both the steel of the bridge itself the rocks of the pilings below show the natural orange-rust color of iron. Evidence of age, evidence of repair. This bridge is still in use.

About Kay Lovingood

Kay Lovingood

I bought my first camera, a Canon AE-1, in 1979, and practiced and experimented and asked questions. I still ask questions and read blogs; but I've never taken a formal course or workshop. I switched to digital in 2000, which allows more experimenting, with instant feedback, so I can correct a shot immediately. My current camera is a Nikon D-90, with a 28-300 and a macro. Although I'm digital, I don't use...
