This summer I participated in a two month long photography contest through the Wisconsin Images for Conservation Organization that was judged by three National Geographic Photographers. All photos had to be taken and geotagged within certain nature conservancy locations in southeast Wisconsin and were limited to basic lightroom editing tools. At the recent awards ceremony I was honored to be awarded a second place for best overall portfolio (limited to 20 images). Two of my photos were auctioned and the funds donated to the Wisconsin Conservancy Organization. My "Dancing with Dew" 16" x 20" auctioned for $150 and my 16" x 20" "Rainbow Wings" auctioned for $100. Five of the 20 images in my portfolio submission will be included in a commemorative publication in 2018. It was humbling and encouraging to have my efforts recognized by the three professional photographers. I will be posting most of the portfolio images interspersed with other recent images I have taken over the next few months. Hope you enjoy them
