I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.
Seeking refuge from a storm in Dubrovnik, Croatia, my husband and I ran into a cafe. Packed in with other tourists who were there to see the old wall, I had barely any room to move. When I settled in to this uncomfortable situation, I saw this view and took this as a shooting opportunity.
At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. It was beyond wet and a bit frightening since we were walking the wall in Dubrovnik. If you slipped, well who knows...... Thanks so much. Crisis equals opportunity. In this case, it was the thunder and lightning that drove us indoors. Never one to miss a photo op, I took full advantage.
