Love this!! I was drawn to this, because I have created artwork with the McDonald's logo as well with issues concerning capitalism. There was no religious subject matter in mine, but it makes this piece outstanding! Favorite and voted. :)

A Parody on advertising. Kids getting fat, eating the corporate matrix food, god and the corporations, the American way. A parody on fast food, and icons, used in branding. A little history lesson, on advertising, branding and icons. When you want to brand something for advertising, be it a company, a product, you create a icon. Where does this idea come from, look back in history to today, one of the most well known icon, Christ on the cross. This was not overlooked by people in advertising. When creating a icon for branding, a icon must stands out, and be something you can't forget.

About Keith Dillon

Keith Dillon, Artist / Photographer. I was born in New Jersey, growing in the northern part of the state. Started out wanting to be a artist, picked up a camera, began covering rock bands for magazines. Worked as a assistant for other professional photographers, started a studio, and became a commercial photographer for 30 years. I worked in advertising, product, photojournalism, editorial, and corporate, both in studio, and locations. Starting using digital, and Photoshop 19 years ago. My advertising work has been in Andy Warhol, INTERVIEW magazine, TOWN & COUNTRY magazine, and MANHATTAN CATALOGUE magazine, and many more.
