I bought this for Christmas for my daughter-in-law who just visited Barcelona. She’s going to love it! It’s a beautiful piece and I really like the print mounted on wood.

Came out sepia color. I may have requested that by mistake. Other than that it’s good.

The artwork is stunning. The mounting on wood was awful and actually damaged the print. Had to be returned due to damage.

This particular scene is from a place very near my father’s house and the memorial bench for his late wife. He himself has taken many similar photographs of this beautiful spot. I love this photograph. I had hoped that having it printed on wood would give it additional depth and character. Unfortunately, the wood grain obscures many areas of the image. I regret not simply having it printed on canvas or having a regular framed print made.

About Martin Konopacki Restoration

I am currently traveling across the United States with my wife as full time RVrs; this enables me to pursue my passion for creating fine art photography. I am also dedicated to the preservation and restoration of historic film and glass negatives. The "vintage" images on my site are 50 to 100 years and older. All the "vintage" images displayed here are first generation, meticulously restored from the "original" camera negative. Now that almost all photography is digital, keeping an archive of original camera negatives is a way to preserve the physical connection to our past which exists in the photographic negative.
