My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
I photographed this man with his dog in the Bear rocks area of the dolly sods wilderness in west Virginia. We were there to view the surrounding fall colors on the neighboring mountains from the summit of "The Sods". On this rare occasion the ever present westerly winds were absent and the mountain was engulfed in clouds. The fine mist kept us damp, but didn't dampen our spirits as we enjoyed the eerie scenes around us.
About Steve Mountz
Steve Mountz enjoys drawing, painting, and using photoshop. In 1985 he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Youngstown State University. He spent the next 18 years designing and executing ceramic tile murals and bas relief sculptures for Summitville Tiles, Inc., completing murals for homeowners, schools, government entities, and and corporations such as Anheuser Busch. Mr. Mountz left the tile industry in 2003, obtaining an art education degree in 2007. He now teaches art at an area high school, specializing in drawing, painting, and digital art.
