Awesome product. Got it in today and hung it up. Was a bit cautious having it shipped especially through UPS but it was packed super well and came in perfect condition even though UPS always beats up my boxes. Definitely will be lifelong decor considering the quality of the maple it is printed on. Would certainly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing this.

This is a birthday present for my brother. And this is the first time I've ordered from this website. Let's get the party started.

Loved it, saw your work at the Estes Park Art Show around Memorial Day 2018 while visiting Colorado.

I love the piece so much! How well it works in my whimsical blue garden! I just did not know to depict the rabbit hole in the Alice in Wonderland area that this is the perfect conceptual representation. It is beautiful and whimsical. As I had to place it on a stump where a branch had been sawed, I hired a one skilled with a jigsaw to round the edges a bit for visual believability and, after attaching it to the stump, added tiny pieces of bark around the edge to help it blend with the stump. Great discovery!

Artist's Description

This lone raven waits at an appointed spot everyday until he sees his flock returning to its winter roost, when he will take flight and follow. He hunts all day for food, and then joins his flock of comrades in the evening. Just like humans, ravens tend to want to congregate in cold lonely times for safety and port against the storms. Maybe this particular farmer is sloppy with the grain and foodstuffs he provides for his charges? Does the raven make this his last stop of the evening to get a meal for the cold night ahead?

About Barb Kirpluk

I am a nature artist focusing primarily on wildlife and animals. I love watching them, and learning about how they live. I try to imagine what they think about. I work in both traditional materials of oil, pastel, acrylic, and the like. As well I am inspired by newer tools of digital painting. All of my digital works are hand painted one stroke at a time using a stylus pen and a Wacom tablet. My life long love of cameras, and desire to capture my own reference materials, has also led to the addition of photography to my portfolio of works. This pursuit finds me traveling and spending time quietly in nature. It takes a fair bit of patience to photograph animals in natural settings, and for me is a good way to slow the pace of our...
