Bag is gorgeous - especially love this picture of the bear. Almost wish the bag wasn't so stark white though - it may get dirty faster. If I could have changed the bag color, I wasn't aware of it. Love the bag & ordered the card that matched!!

I am very happy with my bag and take it with me when I go shopping. It holds a number of articles and attracts attention because of the dogs' photo on both sides.

Gorgeous art on a practical bag. Thank you, my talented friend, for helping me add a bit of magic to the everyday! Just the grownup upgrade I needed from hauling my stuff around in my boring grocery tote bags.

Nicole at her bee yard. Very happy with Khalil Houri's Buddha bag

Artist's Description

Spacecraft re-entry is tricky business for several reasons. When an object enters the Earth's atmosphere, it experiences a few forces, including gravity and drag. Gravity will naturally pull an object back to earth. But gravity alone would cause the object to fall dangerously fast. Luckily, the Earth's atmosphere contains particles of air. As the object falls, it hits and rubs against these particles, creating friction. This friction causes the object to experience drag, or air resistance, which slows the object down to a safer entry speed. This friction is a mixed blessing, however. Although it causes drag, it also causes intense heat. Specifically, shuttles face intense temperatures of about 3000 degrees Fahrenheit (about 1649 degrees Celsius)

About Alec Drake

Biography - For years I searched for the roots to my artistic cravings. When I first discovered digital art in 1999, it was apparent this form of expression was a perfect fit. The digital realm allows me to spread out to multiple levels of creativity. Working with tools like Paint Shop Pro 7-14, Painter Essentials and digital brushes on my Wacom tablet, there are endless creative paths to follow my inspirations. My approach to art is best summed up by Allen Saunders, who in 1957 wrote “ Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans”. This phrase was later made popular by John Lennon in his song 'Beautiful Boy'. I have a love for color and you will see it dominate much of my work. The impact of color on our mind state, spirit...
