It was at the start of the Summer Monsoon season in the Arizona Sonoran Desert. On this afternoon in early July, monsoon clouds were forming in the sky, dropping their rain over the Rincon Mountains.
It was the beginning of what would be a FABULOUS SERIES of stupendous, CLOUDSCAPES!! Especially for a photographer who LOVES clouds in ALL their WONDROUS stages!! Here was the last our Agave plants in bloom, as though "REACHING FOR THE SKY," as I would be doing over the next two months. Little did I know what was to BE!!
