This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the gift recipient loved it and brought them to tears as it was a sentimental gift.

Dear Anne E. W.: Sorry to hear you've had similar problems with the "blurry" factor but I guess such messages from FAA are part of the learning curve for all of us. I was happy to hear that people have been wanting to buy prints of your work. May you keep getting those bright spots which tell your creativity to keep going! (By the way, you can see the film, "Strangers Weathering", which includes this piece on my YouTube page. It's under my name there.) Also, as you can probably tell, working a day job I don't really find the time to connect with other artists online and do browsing of their works justice, but I'm really happy we have connected in this way. :)

Stephen, I am surprised that I am the first to leave a comment about this wll composed, memorable and meaningful piece. As I see in your description, this has been featured in part of the film entitled "Quilt Suite". Kudos & congratulations . I can surely understand the sawdust analogy. My sawdust has been dropped may times. Usually the FAA people say that the image is too blurry. In any case, thanks for your note. I have more q's to ask about this particular painting but I will do that at another time. The best to you, Anne E. W.
