Is it worth risking life and limb to catch the shot you have desperately wanted to capture for many years?

...absolute not!

However, it is well worth the careful preparation, getting the right climbing gear and pushing yourself to your personal physical limits to achieve this goal safely.

This is Ganoga Waterfall, deep in the gorge of Ricketts Glen State Park, in north eastern Pennsylvania, USA. Ganoga is the tallest waterfall among the 22 named falls in the glen, with a drop of 94 feet. The sky was deep blue, but fortunately, a huge cloud was shading the waterfall when I took this photograph.

Reaching this spot is a bit of a challenge on a nice summer day. In winter, it is a lot more difficult, and not even permitted, unless you have registered with the PA Parks Commission and meet their strict requirements. In other words, dont try this at home, kids.
