This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

About Dris Bobilin
Please contact me when you order so that I may know my kindred spirits. My art allows me to interpret my thoughts and dreams into my own visual language especially when words fail me. From the islands I grew up in on Hawaii to the Celtic islands of my heart I find connections and patterns between elements in nature. My work is balanced but not symmetrical and layered in colors. I use a variety of mediums depending on the image; watercolors, acrylics, ink, colored pencils on paper and on wood panels.
