The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Mary, I have not read all of the comments on this but I love this Little RED Corvette...looks to be a 1962 model, the last of this design before the Stingray series was introduced and ran from 1963 through 1967. Gorgeous Glossy paint...I used to restore Corvettes...a paint job like this takes weeks but when complete brings a tremendous sense of accomplishment! F/L Jerry

Mary, I've always loved the close up art of cars and this one is a fine example of why; seeing this detail is a tease, leading me to wanting to see the full body.
