Description
This watercolor painting captures a brightly colored red-eyed tree frog up close. This reptile is a master of camouflage!
How does it hide with bright colors?
It tucks its orange feet under its belly & closes one of its three eyelids to cover its red eyes but still be able to see. It now looks like a green blob.
If a predator approaches, the frog opens his bright red eyes to startle the predator & escapes as a colorful blur. The predator follows, looking for the bright-colored prey. But now the frog has landed & tucked up into a big green blob. Safe!
Amazing wildlife!
