Pastel - Oil Pastel On Paper
Description
This scene was created from the southwest side of Tucson, in the foothills of the Tucson mountain range, looking northeast over the city towards the Santa Catalina mountains. In the foreground is an iconic saguaro cactus and a clump of prickly pear cacti. The medium is oil pastel on tinted, speckled Canson paper. This image looks quite nice on the mug.

Bonnie, what a gorgeous pastel. It would appear you love the Catalinas as much as I do. I haven't photographed or painted them in some time. You've inspired me to to do so! Featured in Southern Arizona
