I hung my picture above my desk in my kitchen. I can look at it from all angles in my kitchen, dining room and living room. I have a Tiffany lamp on my desk which, when lit, it lights up the clouds in the painting. This means so much to me as my son died suddenly at age 43 this year. I love this painting and will cherish it forever. The man looks like my son in Jesus' arms...

Very disappointed. Canvas was too dark. We felt that fine art should have used some judgement to advise us the print was not usable. Unfortunately the 30 day guarantee doesn’t cover shipping, so it cost us over $70 to ship back.

Not great. Just looks like a photoshopped cow in a photocopy of a painting. Definitely will not be hanging it in the house.

The artwork looks even better on my wall than it did on the website. It is exactly what I was looking for. I love the fact that the art is minimalist and yet makes a bold statement in my bedroom. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you.

I love these pieces. I actually used them in my guest bath. They look perfect.

Artist's Description

A little story behind this graceful flower... One of my favorite pass-times is yard sales. I once happened upon a table full of odds and ends where an antique "tiny...old" wooded, sewing shaped box caught my attention. Inside the box were several small envelopes, each stamped with the words "Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Heirloom Seeds" and a handwritten name of the flower seeds on them. Not knowing whether the seeds would still germinate I was charmed by the box alone. I couldn't wait to get the seeds in the ground. Out of the various seeds that have sprouted....My favorite is a brilliant corner of Red Poppies of which I just had to share! This heirloom poppy is so detailed, that even underneath captures an irresistible view. It has now become my calling card or business card image to share with everyone! Open Edition Print: SOLD 2/50

About Sandi F Hutchins

Sandi F Hutchins

Self-taught oil painter, photographer, designer, illustrator, seamstress and gardener, visibly my passion and interests are to create. When relocated to the Pacific Northwest, I developed a more serious relationship with photography. Living here brings a plethora of images of our ‘Evergreen State’ and its beauty. It gave an inspiration to develop my greeting card business ‘Images Northwest: Card Creations’ sharing my images of being in the right place at the right time. It was however in 2002, a volume of pressed flowers inspired an epiphany to create images by scanning flowers instead of photographing them. ' Scan-ography' became a new passion. Although Macro photography catches beautiful images, a scanner becomes a new...
