When stationed in South Korea in 1968 I started painting during the evenings and on weekends as a way to pass the time. Most of the paintings were detailed studies of the Disney animated features.
While living in Washington DC, I spent most weekends painting landscapes in the Maryland and Virginia countryside.
In 1990 I was hired by The Walt Disney Company as a Product Design Manager. Working for Disney was a dream come true for me, something I had wanted to do ever since I was five years old. During the next 9 years at Disney I worked on many exciting projects and look back fondly on my time with Disney. My artwork has been exhibited in Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey.
I have also written and published three narrative poetry books that are available through Barnes & Noble and Amazon online:
“One Year There”
“The Ocean, The Treehouse, and God”
“A Boy Nonetheless”
