Red Sky at Night is an image about hope & wonder about what the next day brings.
There's a folklore saying, "Red sky at night, shepherd's delight", meaning that a red sky at night will precede beautiful weather the following day.
I've used it here to evoke the idea of hope of something new and wonderful each day.
The inspiration for this image came from the red shadows from a window being cast by the setting sun.
From this image, I created a digital collage, using the window frame as the background and overlaying it with an abstract tree landscape photograph.
I then digitally manipulated the colour to highlight the palette of warm tones, red and pink and balanced this with complementary green tones.
