Rio Pelago is a river in Tuscany that has created the largest and the deepest canyon in Tuscany: Orrido di Botri. Orrido di Botri is located in Bagni di Lucca, in Fegana valley, at the slopes of Alpe Tre Potenze and Mt. Rondinaio.
The area is accessible through the dry riverbed of Rio Pelago; that's why it's accessible only from June to September.

I’m a nature and wildlife photographer based in Italy. Born in a small town in the beautiful green Tuscany region, I grew up spending a lot of time in the nature, hiking and exploring the mountains and the woods, which represent my favorite natural environment.
