This was a commission painting I did. This work pictures a mid-view of water with two canoeists in a canoe in autumn. Autumn is in full array and it's exciting reds and wonderful colors are being reflected in the water. I thought about putting a horizon line or a ground line in the upper portion of the painting, but decided to leave the whole scene in view of the beautiful autumn reflections in the water. I liked the blurriness of the colorful reflections in the water in contrast to the distinctiveness of the canoeists and the canoe. ~ Enjoy!
