Remains of house flooded by Hoover Dam. The pioneer town of St Thomas, Nevada, USA, was submerged under more than 15 metres of water in 1938 after Lake Mead filled behind the newly-built Hoover Dam. More recently, drought in the western USA has dramatically lowered the level of Lake Mead, exposing the foundations of many of this town's buildings. Photographed in March 2013.
