This rooftop scene captures the urban essence of this small tuscan city. Siena is dense at its core, although it feels quaint as it is only accessible to pedestrian traffic. The density and small thoroughfares allow the buildings and "streets" to follow the tight curvature of the hillside on which they were constructed. The clay roofs and serpentine cityscape begin to define the urban fabric from this high vantage point. This photograph is #2 in the series of 2. Photograph was taken in Siena, Italy.
