Reporters filming law hearings. Cameramen and reporters filming the confirmation hearing to determine the suitability of US justice Felix Frankfurter (1882-1965) to serve as an Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court. This hearing took place on 12 January 1939 before the Judiciary Subcommittee of the US Senate in Washington DC, USA. The recording equipment includes film and still cameras. The committee later confirmed the nomination and Frankfurter served for 23 years until 1962.
