Hauntingly beautiful in its moody colors, we found this cemetery actually peaceful instead of scary. The solitude itself is what gave us the name for this art. Well manicured lawns and pathways showed a deep respect for the departed by the living and a very long history of Stirling Castle (Scotland) notables can be found buried there from as far back as the 15th century. While not buried here, Stirling Castle is renowned for housing Mary, Queen of Scots.
