From her home in Huntsville, Alabama, Carolyn Shores Wright [1929-2023] painted in oils, acrylics and primarily watercolors for more than fifty years. When Carolyn's sons were teenagers, she began her art career. Her early works were done in oils and acrylics, but for a vacation trip her husband gave her a set of watercolor paints. She soon realized she had found her medium. The artist developed a style which is sensitive, delicate and uniquely her own.
